If you remember our Regular T’s collection back in 2019, the current ’24 release is the continuation, or we can say the advanced episode, of that collection. Aside from the strange rumors surrounding the denim world, through this graphic t’s release we also wanted to highlight several things which are closely related to all of us Denim Heads. Something that might only matter to us. Something that only we can relate to. Something that only we understand. And more importantly, something that only we can have a good laugh about.
Aren’t we all fascinated by the so-called roping-effect on a well-faded denim jean? The roping effect, or simply called roping, is a type of abrasion / fade pattern on the hem part of the jean where it looks like it’s twisting around itself. One of the things that naturally causes this phenomenon is due to the seams at the face and underside of the hem not being lined up. The uneven tension during the hemming process also helps in creating a bumpy rope-like shape along the edge. And yes, us Denim Heads are geeking over this phenomenon for the longest time. It’s surely one to note in our blue achievement book if we successfully create such CHAIN-ROPING fade.
All the Regular Tee pieces were made using our ever-signature medium-weight tubular-knitted jersey fabric. Tubular tee construction can only be achieved when the jersey fabric was manufactured using a circular-knitting machine. The most obvious character is that the tee has no side seam construction. Ensuring a better and a more proper t’s shape for a longer time span. The graphic was printed using water-based ink, so you’ll have that favorable worn-in look with wears and washes. ~ Pre-shrunk fabric
