Care Instructions
Please note that our pieces are crafted from brass plated with 18K gold or rhodium.
The layer of plating will naturally fade and tarnish over time. Extra care will have to be taken to prevent it from wearing out too soon and maximize its lifespan.
- Do not spray perfume or other substances while wearing your gold plated jewelry.
- Substances like oil, nail polish, nail polish remover, chlorine, perfume, etc. May react with metal/plated jewelry and cause it to tarnish easily. This also goes with sweat.
- Wait until your lotion/ cream is dry or has been absorbed by your skin before you wear your gold plated ring, bracelet or necklace.
- Gently rub the surface of your gold plated jewelry using a very soft jewelry cloth or a cotton ball to remove any dust and dirt it has acquired.
- If your jewelry needs more cleaning you may clean it with warm, soapy water. Soak it for a few minutes and clean it with a soft brush.
- To avoid scratches, wrap your jewelry in a soft cloth after cleaning or keep it in a jewelry box separate from other types of jewelry you have.
