Let's just say that I am pleasantly surprised by the product that I received. At a quarter the price of a Xbox Series controller, the Nova Lite manages to hold its own incredible well.
Right off the bat, the design of the Gray variant that I got is fresh and fun with the striking orange accent of the sticks adding additional flair to the color scheme. Not only does it look good, it also feels comfortable to hold and use! The hall effect sticks are definitely the highlight here, but that's not to say the other buttons don't feel good as well. I like how clicky the face buttons and bumpers are, though I do wish the D-Pad were not as mushy as it is. Before I forget, this is admittedly a slight nitpick, but it is quite disconcerting how far the bumpers stick out of the chassis. This unfortunate arrangement makes them feel wobbly and infirm, though it anything but a major concern. Also, the placement of the View and Menu buttons are a bit awkward, at least for me who is used to having them in the middle of the chassis instead if slightly slanted upwards as they are featured in the Nova Lite. Aside from these nitpicks, I have zero issues with the controller. It pairs quickly, works with different Operating Systems, and it comes with a carrying case!
This is the trite part where I say that overall this controller is extremely worth the (relatively quite little) money that I spent on it. Suffice it to say that I will be keeping my eyes peeled for more products from Gamesir.
