SRAM Battery for RED eTap The SRAM eTap Battery is the power source for the eTap and AXS systems. The same battery is interchangeable between front and rear derailleurs. SRAM thought of everything when designing eTAP. Since the batteries are universal, buying 1 or 2 extras means you are never caught with a dead battery 5 minutes before a ride. The included cover plate protects the contact points during transport or storage and has a selector switch so you know the charge state of all your batteries. Even if you do lose power on a ride, simply swap them around to run the rear derailleur and make it home.
