To infuse new perfection, Astell&Kern utilized the PVD technique to create the Platinum Coating. This highly precise process involves using an expensive vacuum chamber to create an ultra-vacuum state, vaporizing the Platinum metal at high temperatures to form an ionized gas called plasma, which then uniformly coats the surface of the SP3000 904L Stainless Steel. Finally, an AF coating is applied to prevent fingerprints, completing the SP3000 Platinum Coated 904L Stainless Steel edition.
