RASPBERRY PI Pico W is a microcontroller board based on the Raspberry Pi RP2040 microcontroller chip with a 2.4GHz wireless interface. A new member of the Pico family, the Pico W maintains the power and flexibility of the previous model but adds wireless connectivity allowing for greater integration into IoT applications. WiFi support is enabled via the integrated Infineon CYW43439 chip and contained in a metal shield can to reduce compliance costs. The Pico features flexible digital interfaces and can be easily programmed over USB using C/C++ or MicroPython, thanks to a comprehensive SDK with software examples and full documentation.
