I'm planning a new production PC with a 3440x1440 no-curve display. I test drove the monitor for a few days on my daily driver PC that usually runs a 32" 4K display, and it works better for me using PowerPoint, Excel, and editing applications. For 18 months I used a 43" TV on this PC, but when it died I decided to try the 32" from another station, and I like it way better. I didn't realize how much head turning and neck craning I was doing with the 43". This setup looks great, but I sincerely hope you're sitting far enough back to avoid what I went through. Speaker's don't have to be ear height to sound great. Other than the lowest frequencies, sound is directional, so optimization can be achieved by tilting them to the correct angle.
